Gawler Garden and Produce Share

The Gawler Garden and Produce Share is a fortnightly gathering at Apex Park, where people bring excess garden and produce “things” to share with others, the focus is on home grown and home made with a preference for organic and chemical free methods being used.

Anyone is welcome, even if they don’t have anything to share, or are just starting out in preserving. Check out the Transition Gawler Calendar for the next Gawler Garden and Produce Share.

“First Fridays” Catch up @ the PA Hotel

The “First Fridays” Catch up @ the PA Hotel, is an informal gathering where anyone who is interested in Transition Gawler can come along and meet, mingle and share ideas with like minded individuals.

It occurs on the “First Friday” of the month, at the PA Hotel 109 Murray St, Gawler) from around 7:30pm, with some arriving early to indulge a meal made from locally sourced produce.

Gawler Transition to Solar

solar instalLocal Gawler based, family run, company Down to Earth Sustainable Solutions has offered their services to provide customised design and installation of solar panels, at a discounted price for residents of Gawler and the Surrounding area. Their services include taking into consideration the individuals households energy requirements, the current market for electricity including Feed In Tarrifs (or lack thereof) and advances in technology available ensuring the system provided is the most suitable for that individual houshold.
