Get On Your Bike, Gawler

Transition Gawler likes to celebrate all things ‘bike’ and to encourage bike riding of all kinds in Gawler. Bikes are a healthy, fun way to get around, and substituting short car rides with bike rides can make a real impact on your greenhouse gas emmissions.

With around 40% of car trips being less than 3 km, many of us have plenty of opportunities to walk or cycle instead of driving.

From a quick trip to pick up some groceries, to a Sunday ride with the family, to competitive road, BMX, mountain and trick riding, bikes can play an important role in our lives. We have a bunch of great ideas for “Get on your Bike, Gawler” and now we’re looking for more Gawler bike lovers to join us. If you’re interested Contact Us.

High Tea on Wheels

After great interest in the Electric bikes which were on display at the 2014 Sustainable Living Festival, Ian Tooley has organised a group buy on behalf of Transition Gawler with the potential to save 20% on the purchase price, and a few extras thrown in, see this post for more info
